1. Control Shaft Assembly

Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Shift the transaxle into neutral.

  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

  3. Remove the battery and battery tray.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - Battery)

  4. Disconnect the control cable from the control shaft after removing the pins (A).

  5. Completely remove the drive shaft (A).

    Tightening torque: 19.6–26 N·m

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
