Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the condenser.

  2. Remove the cap (B) at the bottom of the condenser using an L-shaped wrench (A).

    Tightening torque: 2.7~3.2 N·m

  3. Remove the desiccant (A) from the condenser using long-nose pliers. Check the desiccant for crumbling and the filter for clogging with the lower cover.

  4. Apply A/C compressor oil to the O-rings and threads of the new lower cover.

  5. Install the new desiccant into the receiver-drier. The desiccant must be sealed in vacuum until it is exposed to air for use.

  6. Install the new lower cap on the condenser.
