Low-Profile Tire
Low aspect ratio tires, with an aspect ratio of less than 50, are designed for a sporty appearance.
Because low aspect ratio tires are optimized for handling and braking, they may provide a less comfortable ride and produce more road noise compared to conventional tires.
CAUTION
Because the sidewall of a low-profile tire is shorter than that of a conventional tire, the wheel and low-profile tire are more easily damaged. Therefore, follow the instructions below.
- When driving on rough roads or off-road, drive carefully, as the tires and wheels may be damaged. After driving, inspect the tires and wheels.
- When driving over a pothole, speed bump, manhole or curb, drive slowly to avoid damaging the tires and wheels.
- If a tire is damaged, we recommend that you check the tire condition or contact an authorized Kia dealer.
- To prevent tire damage, check the tire condition and tire pressure every 3,000 km.
- It is not easy to visually detect tire damage. However, if there is the slightest sign of tire damage, even if you cannot see the damage with your own eyes, have the tire inspected or replaced, as tire damage may cause air to leak from the tire.
- Damage to a tire caused by driving on rough roads, off-road, or over a pothole, manhole, or curb is not covered by the warranty.
- You can find tire information on the tire sidewall.
