WARNING

Never adjust the steering wheel position while driving: Adjusting the steering wheel while driving is dangerous, because it may cause a sudden turn to the left or right. This may lead to loss of vehicle control and cause an accident.

Steering wheel adjustment

To adjust the steering wheel tilt or telescopic position: 1. Stop the vehicle, and pull down the release lever located under the steering column.

2. Tilt the steering wheel and/or adjust the telescopic position to the desired position, then push the lever up to lock the steering column.

3. After adjusting, try to move the steering wheel up and down to make sure it is properly locked before driving.

CAUTION

Make sure the steering wheel is properly locked. If the lever is difficult to raise, gently move the steering wheel forward and backward while pulling the lever up.
