Power windows

For the window lifters to operate, the ignition switch must be in the ON position.

WARNING

Before closing the window, make sure it is safe to do so: Closing a power window can be a safety hazard.

Passengers' hands, head or neck may be trapped by the window glass, which may cause serious injury or death. Children are especially at risk.

Never allow children to play with the power window switches. Power window switches that are not locked may allow children to operate the windows, which may cause serious injury to a child's hands, head or neck if trapped by the glass.

CAUTION

To prevent the fuse from blowing and damaging the power window system, do not open or close more than three windows at the same time.

CAUTION

The power window cannot be opened or closed any further, even if the switch is still held after the window is fully opened or closed. If the power window does not open or close, wait a moment, then operate the switch again.
