In this manual: Operation and maintenance
~1min read
- Use a remover for road tar and insects. Never do this with a knife or similar tool.
- To prevent corrosion of chrome parts, apply wax or chrome preservative to them and polish until shiny.
- In low temperatures or in coastal areas, coat chrome parts with a thicker layer of wax or preservative than usual. These parts can also be covered with corrosion-resistant technical petroleum jelly or another protective agent.
CAUTION
Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners or strong detergents containing alkaline or caustic compounds to clean chrome or anodized parts. They may damage the protective coating and cause discoloration or damage to the paint.
