No special break-in is required; simply observe a few precautions during the first 1,000 km (600 miles) to improve the performance, economy and service life of your Mazda vehicle.

  • Do not race the engine.
  • Do not maintain the same speed, fast or slow, for a long period.
  • Do not drive constantly at full throttle or at high engine speeds for long periods.
  • Avoid sudden stops.
  • Avoid rapid starts.
