Problem Possible causes/consequences and solutions
Gears are difficult to shift. The transmission is leaking oil.
  • Have the transmission checked immediately by a qualified workshop.
The vehicle has less acceleration than usual.

The transmission no longer shifts through all gears.

You can no longer engage reverse gear.

 The transmission is in emergency operating mode.
  • Stop.
  • Shift the transmission to P.
  • Switch off the engine.
  • Wait at least 10 seconds before restarting the engine.
  • Shift the transmission to D.
  • Have the transmission checked immediately by a qualified workshop.
