Removal

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the front instrument panel trim (see subsection 13.26).

3. Pull the control unit toward you and disconnect the wiring connectors.

4. Disconnect the temperature control cable from the lever and remove the control unit.

Installation

PROCEDURE

Installation is performed in the reverse order. When assembling, set the temperature control lever and the blend door lever to the maximum heat position, and connect the temperature control cable.
