GENERAL INFORMATION

The brakes have a dual-circuit hydraulic system; each circuit controls the brakes of diagonal wheels.

Front wheel braking is provided by a single-piston sliding caliper.

On some vehicles the rear brakes are drum brakes with automatic brake shoe-to-drum clearance adjustment.

Vehicles without ABS are equipped with a rear brake pressure regulator.

Vehicles with ABS are equipped with pressure regulators that operate at a specified load.
