Before switching off the engine, you can select position P or N to engage neutral.

In both cases, apply the parking brake to immobilise the vehicle.

If the lever is not in position P, a message will appear on the multifunction display when you open the driver's door or about 45 seconds after switching off the ignition.
  • Move the lever to position P; the message will disappear.
