Running out of fuel – diesel version

After a fault caused by running completely out of fuel, bleed the system before attempting to restart the engine.

Fill the tank with at least 8 litres of diesel.

Press priming pump 4 several times.

After completing these steps, the engine can be started.

If the engine does not start after several attempts, contact an Authorised Dacia Partner.

Insert the RENAULT card into the card reader 5. Press the start button 3 without depressing any pedals. Wait a few minutes before starting the engine. This allows the fuel supply system to bleed.

If the engine does not start, repeat the procedure.

Any repair or modification of fuel supply system components (electronic modules, lines, fuel system, injectors, protective covers, etc.) is strictly prohibited for safety reasons (except when carried out by an Authorised Renault Dealer). When working near the engine, remember that it may be hot. In addition, the radiator fan may start at any time.
