Risk of serious injury.

Malfunction

In some cases, the RENAULT “hands-free” card may not work:

  • wear of the RENAULT card battery, discharged battery...
  • proximity to a device operating on the same frequency (screen, mobile phone, video games...);

you leave your vehicle, especially with the RENAULT card on you, make sure the engine is switched off.jamais votre véhicule,Never leave
your vehicle with the RENAULT card inside and a child (or an animal) left in it, even for a short time.

This is because it could start the vehicle or operate electrical equipment (window lifters...) and risk trapping a part of the body (neck, arm, hand...).

Risk of serious injury.

Never switch off the ignition before the vehicle has come to a complete stop. Stopping the engine causes the loss of assistance: brakes, steering... and of passive safety devices such as airbags and pretensioners.
