If you drive with the parking brake not fully released, the red warning light on the instrument panel will stay on.
To apply
Pull lever 3 upwards. Make sure the vehicle is securely immobilised.
The warning light
comes on in the instrument panel.
If the underbody of the vehicle is struck during a manoeuvre (for example, contact with a bollard, a raised kerb or any other street furniture), the vehicle may be damaged (for example, an axle may be bent). To avoid any risk of accident, have your vehicle checked by a Brand Representative.
While driving, make sure the parking brake is fully released (warning light off). Risk of overheating.
When stopped, depending on the slope and/or the vehicle load, it may be necessary to apply at least two additional notches of the parking brake and engage a gear (1st or reverse) for vehicles with a manual gearbox, or position P for vehicles with an automatic gearbox.Test yourself
