Installation diagram for five-door and estate versions

Using a child restraint system not suited to the vehicle will not provide effective protection for the infant or child. It could suffer serious or fatal injuries.
Seating position where
fitting this type of child seat is prohibited.
ISOFIX child seat
Position where ISOFIX child seat
attachment is permitted.
The rear seats are fitted with
anchorages allowing a universal ISOFIX child seat to be fitted facing forward. For the rear seats, the anchorages are located in the luggage compartment, and for the front seats, in the seat back.
The size class of an ISOFIX child seat is marked with a letter:
- A, B and B1: forward-facing seats for group 1 (9 to 18 kg);
- C and D: infant carriers or rear-facing seats for group 0+ (under 13 kg) or group 1 (9 to 18 kg);
- E: rear-facing infant carriers for group 0 (under 10 kg) or 0+ (under 13 kg);
- F and G: carrycots for group 0 (under 10 kg).
The table below contains the same information as the diagram on the following pages, allowing compliance with applicable regulations.

X = Seating position where fitting an ISOFIX child seat is prohibited.
IUF/IL = Seating position where an ISOFIX child seat approved as "Universal/semi-universal or specific to the vehicle" can be fitted; check whether it can be fitted.
(1) The carrycot is fitted across the direction of travel and occupies at least two seats. Position the child so that their head is on the side opposite the door.
(2) To fit a rear-facing child seat, move the front passenger seat fully forward, then move it fully back, but not so far that it touches the child seat.
(3) For a forward-facing child seat, adjust the child seat backrest so that it contacts the vehicle seat back. Adjust the head restraint height or remove it if necessary. Do not move the front seat beyond the middle position of its adjustment rails and do not recline the backrest at too great an angle (maximum 25 degrees).
(4) Make sure the child seat or the child's legs do not prevent the front seat from locking. See the section "Front seat" in Chapter 1.
