Tyre use
In this manual: Practical advice

Keep the tyres in good condition. Their tread must have a specified depth. Tyres approved by our technical departments are fitted with wear indicators 1, i.e. special rubber ridges moulded into the tread.
As the tread wears down, these ridges become more and more visible 2. In that case, the tyres must be replaced immediately, because the tread depth does not exceed 1.6 mm, which means the tyres lose grip on wet road surfaces.
Overloading the vehicle, driving long distances on motorways in hot weather, and frequent driving on poor road surfaces all accelerate tyre wear and affect driving safety.
Events occurring while driving, such as "hitting a kerb", may damage the tyres and wheel rims, and also change the alignment of the front or rear suspension geometry. In this case, have the wheels and geometry checked by an authorised brand partner.Test yourself
