Rear lights (bulb replacement)

Five-door version

Turn indicator light

From the luggage compartment, unscrew quarter-turn fastener 2 to access screw 1.

Unscrew it, then pull the light unit outward.

The bulbs
are pressurised and may burst when replaced.

Risk of injury.

Turn bulb holder 3 a quarter turn to unscrew it.

Replace bulb 4.

Bulb type: W16W.

Depending on local legislation, or as a precaution, obtain an emergency kit from a Renault dealer containing a set of bulbs and a set of fuses.

Reversing lights

From the luggage compartment, unclip access panel 5.

The bulbs
are pressurised and may burst when replaced.

Risk of injury.

Unscrew screw 6 so that light unit 7 can be removed by pushing it outward.

Turn bulb holder 8 a quarter turn to unscrew it, then replace the bulb.

Bulb type: W16W.

Rear fog light

Turn bulb holder 9 toward the centre of the vehicle to unscrew it, accessing it from underneath.

Bulb type: P21W.

Note: only the driver's side bulb lights up.

Estate version

From the luggage compartment, remove the side carpet.

Note: depending on the vehicle, it will be necessary to remove storage compartment door A.

From inside, loosen the three screws 10, then from outside, remove the light unit by pulling it rearward, then unclip the bulb holder.

Replace the affected bulb.

The bulbs
are pressurised and may burst when replaced.

11 Position light / brake light

Bulb type: P21/5W.

12 Turn signal light

Bulb type: PY21W.

13 Reversing light

Bulb type: P21W.

14 Rear fog light

Bulb type: P21W.

Access for vehicles fitted with a loudspeaker in the left-hand luggage compartment

From the luggage compartment, remove the side carpet.

Loosen the three screws 15, 16 and 17, then remove the loudspeaker.

Note: for five-door versions, grasp the housing with both hands and pull the top of the housing toward you while keeping fastener 16 pressed against the trim.

Push the housing toward the front of the vehicle (movement B), then remove the housing.

From inside, loosen the three screws 18, then from outside, remove the light unit by pulling it rearward, then unclip the bulb holder.

Replace the affected bulb.

Two-door version

Turn indicator light

From the luggage compartment, tilt cover 1 upward and remove it to access the back of the light.

The bulbs
are pressurised and may burst when replaced.

Risk of injury.

Unscrew screw 2, then pull the light unit outward.

Because removing protective covers is required, we recommend having the other rear lighting bulbs replaced by a brand Representative.

Turn bulb holder 3 a quarter turn to unscrew it.

Replace the bulb.

Bulb type: PY21W.

When replacing a bulb, do not touch the electrical circuit A.

Risk of damage to the light.

Five-door, estate and two-door versions

Third brake light 19

Consult a Renault dealer.

The bulbs
are pressurised and may burst when replaced.

Risk of injury.

Number plate lights 20

Unclip light 20 by pressing tab 21.

Remove the light cover to access the bulb.

Bulb type: festoon C5W.

Side repeater lights 22

Unclip repeater 22 (using a flat-blade screwdriver type tool, position it at C to tilt the repeater from rear toward the front of the vehicle).

Turn the bulb holder a quarter turn and remove the bulb.

Bulb type: W5W.
