Tightening torques
battery cover screw 0.4 daN.m

The procedures are symmetrical for both sides of the vehicle.

REMOVAL

  • Disconnect the battery, starting with the negative terminal.
  • Remove:
  • the front air distribution duct (Chapter Heating, Front air distribution duct, page 61A-4),
  • partially the carpet.

  • Remove the intermediate air distribution duct (1) from the rear air distribution duct (2) by tilting it inwards.

INSTALLATION

  • Refit in the reverse order of removal.
WARNING

Connect the battery; carry out the necessary relearn procedures (Chapter Battery).

  • Torque the battery cover screws (0.4 daN.m).
