I - DESCRIPTION

Tableau de commande : Fonctionnement
  1. Air recirculation control
  2. Air temperature adjustment
  3. Adjusting the fan speed
  4. Adjusting the air distribution in the cabin
  5. Rear window and mirror heating defrost control and indicator (if fitted)

II - OPERATING PRINCIPLE

1 - Adjusting the air temperature

Tableau de commande : Fonctionnement

Turn the control (6) to the desired temperature.

Note: The closer the slider is to red, the higher the temperature.

2 - Air distribution in the cabin

Tableau de commande : Fonctionnement
  • Move the control (7) so that the slider lines up with the marked positions:

Position (8):

  • air flow is directed only to all vents,

Position (9):

  • air flow is directed to all vents and the footwell (this position is recommended for greater comfort in hot weather),

Position (10):

  • air flow is directed only to the footwell,

Position (11):

  • air flow is split between the windscreen demisting outlets, the side window outlets and the footwell vents (this position is recommended for greater comfort in cold weather),

Position (12):

  • air flow is directed to the windscreen and side window demisting outlets.

3 - Adjusting the fan speed

Tableau de commande : Fonctionnement

Normal use:

  • Turn the control (13) to one of the four positions to switch on the fan and set its speed,
  • Set to 1 for minimum airflow and to 4 for maximum airflow.

Position 0:

  • In this position, there is no fan airflow into the cabin. However, there is a slight airflow when the vehicle is moving. Avoid this position in normal use.

4 - Activating air recirculation (with cabin isolation)

Tableau de commande : Fonctionnement

Turn the control (14) to the air recirculation symbol (15). Air is then taken from the cabin and recirculated, with no outside air intake.

Recirculation allows you to:

  • isolate yourself from outside air (driving in polluted areas, etc.),
  • reach the desired cabin temperature more quickly.
Note:
  • Prolonged use of this position may cause the windows to mist up and cause discomfort due to stale air.
  • Quickly return to normal operation (outside air) by turning the control (14) again.
