Conformity check

INSTRUCTIONS

Only carry out this conformity check after a complete check with the diagnostic tool (reading of faults and verification of configurations).

Application conditions: engine stopped, ignition on (12 V APC "forced").

Air conditioning off (air conditioning compressor not engaged).

Note: The explanation of the various air conditioning function conformity checks can be found in the "Preliminaries".

NOTE:

• To check that the temperature parameters are consistent (without a thermometer), simply read these parameters when the vehicle is cold (in the morning). The two temperatures must be almost equal (as must the engine coolant temperature reported by the injection system).
• Invalid values noted in this check correspond to the value reported by the diagnostic tool (substitute value) when the sensor concerned is faulty. Displaying these invalid values helps detect a sensor fault (important indication for sensors that are not diagnosed, for example: outside temperature sensor).

CABIN VENTILATION SUB-FUNCTION
