CODING THE ELECTRIC STEERING COLUMN LOCK

Note: The electric lock is supplied uncoded. It must therefore learn the immobiliser code when fitted in order to allow the ignition to be switched on.
  • Insert the card into the card holder.
  • Press the start button ("start").
  • Remove the card from the card holder to switch off the ignition.
Note:
  • The electric steering column lock locks the steering column after a few seconds; it is then coded.
  • The red immobiliser indicator flashes to indicate that the immobiliser function is active.
WARNING
  • The injection ECU retains its immobilizer code for life.
  • The system has no fault-finding code.
  • It is forbidden to carry out tests with control units borrowed from the spare parts store, which must then be returned.
  • These ECUs can no longer be coded.
