WARNING

To reduce the risk of unintended airbag 2 deployment and serious injury or death:

  • Do not strike or allow any objects to contact the areas where the airbags or sensors are installed.
  • Do not perform service on or around the airbag sensors. If the location or angle of the sensors is changed, the airbags may deploy when they should not, or may fail to deploy when they should.
  • Do not install bumper guards or replace the bumper with non-genuine HYUNDAI parts. This may adversely affect the impact detection and airbag performance.
  • Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK/OFF or ACC position when the vehicle is being towed to prevent accidental airbag deployment.
  • All airbag repairs must be performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
