Description
Depending on driving conditions and vehicle load, the headlamp beam direction is changed to maintain the driver's sight distance and to protect the driver's eyes from glare, allowing safe driving. The built-in ECU, mounted on the rear center link mounting bracket of the actuator on the headlamp, receives input signals after static changes of the vehicle. The headlamp beam is automatically adjusted when the chassis tilts.Operation
Operating Procedure- Change in suspension angle due to change in vehicle load.
- Change in sensor angle.
- The microprocessor calculates the required headlamp tilt angle change.
- Sends the appropriate signal to the headlamp leveling device and the drive actuator.
- Ignition ON
- Low Beam On
- When stopped: If the sensor lever change is 0.3° or more, the headlamp adjusts within max. 1.5 seconds.
- When driving: if vehicle speed exceeds 4 km/h, the change in speed does not exceed 0.8-1.6 km/h per second, and the load condition changes, then the headlamp adjusts.
