Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Open the fuel filler door and remove the filler neck mounting screw (A).
  3. Raise the vehicle.
  4. Remove the rear LH wheel, tire and inner wheel housing.
  5. Remove the rear subframe. (Refer to Suspension System - "Rear Subframe")
  6. Disconnect the canister close valve connector (A).
  7. Disconnect the fuel tank hose (A).
  8. Disconnect the vent hose (B) from the fuel tank air filter.
  9. Remove the filler neck assembly from the vehicle by removing the bracket mounting bolt (A).

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Fuel filler neck bracket bolt: 7.8 ~ 11.8 N·m Fuel filler neck set screw: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m
