Removal

  1. Remove the fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Pump")
  2. Disconnect the electric pump connector (A) and the fuel level sensor connector (B).
  3. Remove the reservoir cup by releasing the retaining hook (A).
  4. Remove the retaining clip (A) and disconnect the fuel tube (B).
  5. Disconnect the ground cable (A).
  6. Remove the head assembly (B) after removing the damper tube retaining clip (C).
  7. Remove the pre-filter (B) by releasing the locking hooks (A).
  8. Remove the fuel pump motor (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
