Parking brake is applied automatically

When the EPB is applied from AUTO HOLD, a warning will sound and a message will appear.

AUTO HOLD will be canceled! Press the brake pedal

If the transition from Auto Hold to EPB does not function properly, a warning sound will be heard and a message will appear.

Information

Depress the brake pedal when the above Auto Hold message appears, as the EPB may not be applied.

Press the brake pedal to cancel the AUTO HOLD function.

If you do not press the brake pedal when releasing the AUTO HOLD function by pressing the [AUTO HOLD] switch, a warning sound will sound and a message will appear.

AUTO HOLD conditions are not met. Close the door and hood, then fasten your seat belt.

When the [AUTO HOLD] switch is pressed, if the driver's door or engine hood is not closed, or the driver's seat belt is not fastened, a warning sound will sound and a message will appear on the LCD display. In this case, press the [AUTO HOLD] button again after closing the driver's door, engine hood, and fastening the seat belt.
