"CHECK ENGINE" light (in some models)
In this manual: Instrument panel
~1min read

This vehicle is equipped with a computer-controlled emission control system. The "CHECK ENGINE" light on the instrument panel indicates that the emission control system requires service. The "CHECK ENGINE" light comes on when the ignition switch is turned to "ON" or "START" and goes off after the engine starts.
If this light comes on while the engine is running, a malfunction has occurred in the emission control system. Have the vehicle repaired at a SUZUKI service station.
NOTICE Continuing to drive with the "CHECK ENGINE" light on may cause permanent damage to the emission control system, and may affect fuel economy and driveability.Test yourself
