PROCEDURE

Rack-and-pinion steering with a collapsible steering column. The rack is installed in the steering gear housing. The tie rods are connected to the rack through joints covered by rubber boots. The tie rods are connected to the steering arms through ball joints. Depending on equipment, the vehicle may be fitted with power steering. Steering ratio: – without power steering 20.8 – with power steering 17.5 Steering wheel turns, lock to lock: – without power steering 3.83 – with power steering 3.17
