PROCEDURE

The vehicle body is all-steel and consists of the shell (load-bearing structure) and bolt-on assemblies (panels). The shell consists of two main assemblies: the body frame and the floor assembly with the subframe and engine compartment. The shell is non-detachable, as all its elements are welded together. Bolt-on (removable) body panels include: hood, side doors, trunk lid or tailgate (depending on body type), front fenders, etc.
