Volvo ID is your personal ID, which gives you access to various services5.

Examples of services:

  • My Volvo – your personal online portal for you and your vehicle.
  • Vehicle with internet connection* – Certain functions and services, such as sending an address from an online map service directly to the vehicle, require that the vehicle is registered with a personal Volvo ID.
  • Volvo On Call, VOC* – You can sign in to the Volvo On Call app with your Volvo ID.

Benefits of the Volvo ID

  • You only need to remember one user name and one password to access the various online services.
  • If you change the user name and/or password for one service (e.g. VOC), the change is automatically applied to other services (e.g. My Volvo).

Creating a Volvo ID

To create a Volvo ID, you must enter a personal email address.

Then follow the instructions in the email that is automatically sent to the address you entered to complete the registration. A Volvo ID can be created using the following services:

  • My Volvo – Enter your email address and follow the instructions.
  • Vehicle with internet connection* – In the app that requires a Volvo ID, enter your email address and follow the instructions. Or press the Connect button in the center console twice, selectin the center console, selectApps > Settings and follow the instructions.
  • Volvo On Call, VOC* – Download the current version of the VOC app. On the home screen, select the option to create a Volvo ID, enter your email address and follow the instructions.
