Regardless of whether the ignition and headlights are on or off, the high beam bulb and high beam indicator always illuminate when you pull the turn signal lever toward you. If the signal does not illuminate while the lights are on:

PROCEDURE

Remove the lever switches (refer to Instruments and Auxiliary Equipment).

Using a test light, check for voltage at the red wire of terminal 30 that supplies the switch.

If voltage is present, the high beam flasher contact may be faulty. Replace the entire lever switch assembly.
