Topping up engine oil

  • Unscrew the capof the oil filler
    opening
  • Top up with the appropriate oil => page 320 in quantities of 0.5 litre at a time.
  • Check the oil level again after two minutes.
  • If necessary, top up the oil again.
  • Close the oil filler cap and push the dipstick fully in until it stops.

CAUTION!

  • When topping up, take care not to spill oil on hot engine parts - risk of fire!
  • If oil has come into contact with your skin, wash it off thoroughly.

Warning!


  • The oil level must never exceed area (a). Risk of damage to the catalytic converter or engine! Contact a specialist workshop to have oil extracted if necessary.
  • Do not add additives to engine oils. Damage caused by these additives is excluded from the warranty.

Environment


  • Used oil must never enter waste water drains or seep into the ground.
  • Observe the legal regulations when disposing of empty oil containers.
