Removing the high beam bulb

The bulb replacement procedure is the same on the driver side and passenger side.

The bulb replacement procedure is described for the driver side main headlight. After removing the air duct, the procedure for replacing the bulb in the passenger side main headlight is similar.

• Switch off the ignition and turn off the lights.
• Open the engine hood.
• Unlock the steel clip of the housing cover => Fig. 262 in the direction of the arrow and lift off the housing cover, see “General Information”.
• Press the bulb at the plastic connector down => Fig. 263 and pull the connector with the bulb out of the headlight housing.
• Disconnect the plastic connector from the bulb base => see “General Information”.
