Installing the high beam bulb

When installing, the guide lug must engage in the bulb housing holder.

• Insert the new bulb into the plastic connector and push the bulb base fully into the connector => see “General Information”.
• Insert the bulb with the connector into the headlight housing, with the connector lug facing up.
• First insert the lower part of the bulb => Fig. 265 into the housing at position (A).
• Make sure the lug (5) is at the top centre so that it engages in the guide as shown in the figure.
• Lift the plastic connector in the direction of the arrow in Fig. 265 until the bulb engages in the holder. If this does not work at first, correct the position of the bulb.
• Check that the seal is correctly positioned on the housing cover.
• Fit the housing cover and insert the steel clip into the holders until it engages.
• Check whether the new bulb lights up.
• Have the headlight aim checked as soon as possible.
