In this manual: Operating instructions
~2min read
Natural leather requires special attention and care.
Normal cleaning
- Clean soiled leather surfaces with a wool or cotton cloth lightly dampened with water.
Cleaning heavily soiled leather
- Clean heavily soiled areas with a cloth dampened with mild soapy water (2 tablespoons of neutral soap per litre of water).
- When doing so, make sure this solution does not penetrate the leather anywhere or seep into the stitching.
- Then wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
Removing stains
- Remove fresh water-based stains (e.g. coffee, tea, fruit juice, blood, etc.) with an absorbent cloth or paper towel, or use the cleaning product from the care kit if the stain has already dried.
- Remove fresh grease stains (e.g.
butter, mayonnaise, chocolate, etc.) with an absorbent cloth or paper towel, or use the cleaning product from the care kit if the stain has not yet penetrated the leather.
- For dried grease stains, use a grease-dissolving spray.
- Treat special stains (e.g. ballpoint pen, felt-tip pen, nail polish, dye transfer, shoe polish, etc.) with a stain remover specially suited to leather.
Leather care
- Treat the leather every six months with a leather care product.
- Apply this product in very small quantities only.
- Then wipe with a soft cloth.
