The on-board tool kit (A) and the jack (B) => fig. 234 on vehicles with a spare wheel, and on vehicles with a tyre repair kit => fig. 235, are located under the load floor cover in the luggage compartment.

  • Push the load floor cover back using the handle.
  • Unscrew the cover's retaining screw.
  • Remove the cover.
  • On vehicles with a spare wheel, unlock the toolbox by pulling the handle on the box upwards.
  • Remove the on-board tool kit or the jack.

The on-board tool kit includes:

  • a hook for removing solid wheel trims* or wheel centre caps
  • a plastic clip for removing the wheel bolt cover*
  • a wheel bolt wrench
  • a mounting pin for changing the wheel
  • a screwdriver with reversible blade
  • a towing eye

Before stowing the jack, fully lower the lifting arm using the crank handle.

Some of the parts listed here only apply to certain model versions or are optional equipment.

CAUTION!

  • Never use the hex end of the screwdriver to tighten the wheel bolts, as this hex cannot reach the required torque - risk of accident!
  • The jack supplied by the factory is only intended for changing a wheel on your vehicle type. Never lift heavier vehicles or other loads with this jack - risk of injury!
  • Never start the engine while the vehicle is raised - risk of accident!
  • If you need to carry out work under the vehicle, place it on safe and suitable jack stands - risk of injury!
