* Special tools are required for efficient troubleshooting and repair. Such tools are expensive and are generally available only at specialized workshops. Therefore, only the basic troubleshooting principles are described here.

PROCEDURE
1. Check the battery voltage and condition. Refer to Battery Check.
2. Check all fuses. Refer to Fuses.
3. Disconnect and reconnect all connectors of the faulty electronic component. Check that the connections are secure and that the cables in the engine compartment are firmly attached.
4. Check hoses and lines for leaks. Look for pores, cracks and loose connections.
