Driving mode switch

The driving mode switch gives the vehicle sporty performance at the press of a button:

► the engine responds more quickly to accelerator pedal input;
► gear shifts occur faster;
► engine speed is optimized in automatic mode (D);
► cruise control restores the set speed more quickly.

Activating the system

With the ignition key in position 2, press the "SPORT" button.

The LED in the button lights up and "SPORT" appears in the instrument cluster.

Switching off the system

► Press the "SPORT" button again, or
► engage reverse gear, or
► switch off the engine.

The LED in the button and the "SPORT" indicator in the instrument cluster go out.

Launch control

On a road with good traction, launch control provides racing-car acceleration.

Do not use launch control too often. It causes premature wear of components and parts.◄

1. Switch on the sport program.
2. Press and hold the DTC button for more than 3 seconds.
3. Fully depress the accelerator pedal – the Kick-Down function activates. The automatic system brings engine speed to the optimum values for acceleration.

To maintain vehicle stability at the proper level, always drive with DSC switched on.◄
