Before closing the hood, push its support into the holder.

Lower the hood so that it latches. Check that the hood is locked in the correct position.

Warning Always observe the following recommendations: Before driving, pull the front edge of the hood to check that it is properly closed. Do not pull the hood release handle while driving. Do not drive with the hood open. An open hood restricts the driver's visibility.

Driving with the hood open may cause an accident, resulting in damage to the vehicle or other property, personal injury or even death.
