The AF (Alternative Frequency) and REG (Regional) functions are additional functions of the RDS system.

• AF: when this function is activated, the RDS radio automatically tunes to the frequency of the same station with the best reception.
• REG: some radio stations divide their programs by region, i.e. broadcast different programs in different regions. Using the REG function prevents the car radio from switching to alternative frequencies carrying other (non-regional) programs.

The REG function must be activated/deactivated separately in the menu.

TURNING REG ON/OFF:

TURNING RDS ON/OFF:

When the RDS function is activated, the “RDS” indicator lights up on the display.
