CD Changer Mode

Loading a Compact Disc The CD changer holds five 12 cm compact discs.

Carefully insert the compact disc into the CD slot (16) label side up until slight resistance is felt.

The compact disc will load automatically into the mechanism. Compact discs can be inserted even when the car radio is off.

After the compact disc is loaded, the car radio turns off again.

Ejecting a Compact Disc Press and hold the button (17) of the slot containing the required compact disc until the disc is ejected.

If the compact disc remains in the slot for 10 seconds after ejection, it will automatically reload. Compact discs can be ejected even when the car radio is off. After the compact disc is ejected, the car radio turns off again.

Do not apply force when loading/ejecting compact discs.

Do not obstruct or assist the mechanism when loading or ejecting a compact disc.

Switching to CD Changer Mode Press the SRC (7) button repeatedly until “CHANGER” appears on the display.

Playback will start with the first compact disc detected by the CD changer.

Selecting Compact Discs To switch from one compact disc to another:

Press the buttonor(8) one or more times, orPress and release the compact disc slot button (17) once for the slot containing the required compact disc.

Selecting Tracks To move from one track to another (on the current compact disc):

Press the << or >> button (8) one or more times.

Quick Track Selection To quickly move to a following or previous track:

Press and hold one of the buttons/(8) until the track before or after the current track is reached.

Fast Search (with Audio) To quickly search for a track forward or backward:

Press and hold one of the << / >> buttons (8) until fast track search forward or backward begins.

Repeat Playback of Tracks or Compact Discs (REPEAT) To repeat the current track:

Press the 3 RPT button (12).

“RPT TRCK” appears on the display for a few seconds and the RPT indicator lights up.

To repeat the compact disc:

Press the 3 RPT button (12) again.

“RPT DISC” appears on the display for a few seconds and the RPT indicator lights up.

Canceling Repeat Playback To stop repeat playback of a track or compact disc:

Press the 3 RPT (12) button repeatedly until “RPT OFF” appears on the display for a few seconds and the RPT indicator turns off.

Random Playback (MIX) To play the tracks of the current compact disc in random order:

Press the 4 MIX (12) button.

“MIX CD” appears on the display for a few seconds and the MIX indicator lights up.

To play the tracks of all compact discs in random order:

Press the 4 MIX (12) button again.

“MIX ALL” appears on the display for a few seconds and the MIX indicator lights up.

To stop random track playback:

Press the 4 MIX (12) button repeatedly until “MIX OFF” appears on the display for a few seconds and the MIX indicator turns off.

Scanning All Tracks on All Compact Discs (SCAN) To play the beginning of each track on all compact discs in sequence:

Press the SCAN button (15).

“SCAN” appears on the display.

Stopping Scan To stop scanning:

Press the SCAN button (15).

Playback of the currently scanned track begins.

The scan time can be set. For more information, see “Setting Scan Time” in the “Radio Reception Mode” section.

Temporarily Stopping Playback (Pause) Press the 2 button (12).

“PAUSE” appears on the display.

Canceling Pause In pause mode, press the 2 button (12).

Playback will resume.

Changing Display Mode The following display modes are available:

Track number/CD number or track number/playback time.

Press the MENU button (11).

Press theor(8) until “CDC DISP” appears on the display.

Press the << or >> button (8).

The current mode is shown on the display:

“TIME” – track number and playback time, “CD NO” – CD number and track number.

To select the required setting, press the << or >> buttons (8).

After completing the settingPress the MENU button (11) twice.
