Detachable Control Panel

Theft Protection To protect against theft, the car radio is equipped with a detachable control panel.

Without this control panel, the car radio has no value.

To prevent theft of the car audio unit, take the control panel with you every time you leave the vehicle. Never leave the control panel in the vehicle, even in the most hidden places.

The control panel is designed for convenient operation of the car audio unit.

• Do not leave the control panel in direct sunlight or near other heat sources.
• Do not touch the internal components of the control panel.

If cleaning is necessary, use a lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol.

Removal of the Control Panel Press the button(2).

The control panel lock will release.

First pull the control panel toward you, then move it slightly to the left.

• After the control panel is removed, the audio unit turns off.
• All current settings are retained.
• A cassette inserted in the audio unit remains inside.

Installation of the Control Panel Insert the control panel from left to right.

After inserting the control panel into its seat, press the left edge of the control panel until it clicks into place, indicating that the panel is installed.

When installing the control panel, do not press on the display.

If the audio unit was on when the control panel was removed, it will automatically resume operation after the panel is installed, according to the last settings (radio, cassette, multi-disc CD player).
