High frequency cut device for radio interference (HICUT) The HICUT function improves reception when signal quality is poor (FM band only). When interference is present, high frequencies are automatically attenuated, which reduces the level of interference.

Turning the HICUT function on/off:

The “HICUT 0” message means the high frequency cut function is deactivated; when “HICUT 1” is set, high frequencies are automatically attenuated and interference is reduced.
