If the system malfunctions, the driver is warned by an audible signal and the message "Automatic braking system fault" on the display.

Have the system checked at a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

If the windscreen is damaged at sensor level, deactivate the system and contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop to have the windscreen replaced. Never remove, adjust or test the sensor. Repairs may only be carried out at a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop. When towing a trailer or when the vehicle is being towed, the system must be deactivated.
