The vehicle is equipped with an independent MacPherson strut suspension with coil springs.

The suspension consists of lower control arms,

telescopic struts with shock absorbers, springs, upper mounts and a stabilizer bar. Rubber bushings are used in the lower control arm joints. The upper mount of the

telescopic strut is equipped with a rubber damping element and a thrust bearing to allow the front wheels to turn.

The telescopic struts support the wheel bearing housings, which are pivotally connected to the lower control arms by ball joints.

The ball joint studs are inserted into the holes of the bearing housings and secured with nuts. The ball joint housings are riveted to the lower control arms. When performing suspension maintenance, final tightening of the lower arm and stabilizer bar mounting bolts must be carried out only with the suspension components

in the position corresponding to the static load of the vehicle.

in the position corresponding to the static load of the vehicle.

The suspension is in static position when the curb-weight vehicle is resting on a level, horizontal surface.
