Windshield Wiper Blades
Periodically clean the rubber edges of the wiper blades and the windshield with a sponge or soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. This removes salt buildup or road film.
Operating wipers on a dry windshield for extended periods may damage the wiper blades. Always use washer fluid when operating the wipers to remove salt or dirt from a dry windshield.
Do not use the wiper blades to remove frost or ice from the windshield. Keep the rubber blade edges free of contact with petroleum products such as engine oil, gasoline, etc.
NOTE:
The expected service life of wiper blades depends on the geographic region and frequency of use. Poor blade performance may be accompanied by vibration, streaks, water lines, or wet spots. If any of these conditions occur, clean the wiper blades or replace them as necessary.
