Air Conditioning Service
For best performance, your air conditioning system should be inspected and serviced by an authorized dealer at the beginning of each warm season. This service should include cleaning the condenser fins and checking system performance. The drive belt tension should also be checked at this time.
- Use only refrigerants and compressor oils approved by the manufacturer of your air conditioning system. Some unapproved refrigerants are flammable and may explode, causing injury. Other unapproved refrigerants or lubricants may cause system failure requiring costly repairs. Refer to the Warranty Information Booklet for more information on warranty coverage.
- The air conditioning system contains refrigerant under high pressure. To avoid the risk of injury or system damage when adding refrigerant or performing any repair that requires disconnecting lines, the work must be performed by a qualified technician.
Refrigerant R-134a Recovery and Recycling, if equipped

NOTE:
Use only PAG compressor oil and refrigerants approved by the manufacturer for air conditioning systems.
Refrigerant R-1234yf Recovery and Recycling, if equipped
R-1234yf air conditioning refrigerant is a hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) approved by the Environmental Protection Agency and is an ozone-safe substance with low global warming potential. The manufacturer recommends that air conditioning service be performed by an authorized dealer using recovery and recycling equipment.
NOTE:
Use only manufacturer-approved PAG compressor oil and refrigerants for air conditioning systems.
Cabin Air Filter
The filter is located at the fresh air intake under the hood, behind the removable cowl panel on the passenger side, next to the windshield wipers. When installing a new filter, make sure it is oriented correctly.
- Remove the access door from the cowl panel by pressing the retaining clips.

- Disconnect both ends and lift the filter access cover.

- Remove the used filter.
- Install the new filter so that the arrows point in the direction of airflow. The filter must be installed with the arrow pointing toward the rear of the vehicle (the text and arrows on the filter will indicate this).

- Close the filter access cover.
For correct service intervals.
