Getting Necessary Services
Warranty repairs must be performed by an authorized dealer. While any authorized dealer working on your vehicle line can perform warranty service, we recommend that you return to your authorized dealer, who wants to make sure you have continued satisfaction.
Note that some warranty repairs require special training and equipment, so not all authorized dealers are authorized to perform all warranty repairs. This means that, depending on the warranty repair required, you may need to take your vehicle to another authorized dealer.
Allow a reasonable amount of time for repairs after you leave your vehicle at an authorized dealer. Repairs will be performed using Ford or Motorcraft® parts, or remanufactured or other parts approved by Ford.

In some U.S. states, you must notify Ford directly in writing before resorting to remedies under your state's warranty laws, and Ford also has the right to make a final repair attempt.
In addition, in some U.S. states, the consumer has the option of filing a warranty dispute with BBB Auto Line before pursuing remedies under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or, to the extent permitted by state law, before pursuing replacement or repurchase remedies provided under some state laws. This dispute resolution procedure is not required before enforcing rights created by the state or other rights that are independent of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or state replacement or repurchase laws.
