Navigation Map Accuracy and Updates

HERE is the provider of digital maps for the navigation application. If you find map data errors, you can report them directly to HERE by visiting www.here.com. HERE reviews all map error reports and sends the results of its investigation by email.

Navigation system map data may contain inaccurate or incomplete information due to the passage of time, changing conditions, the sources used, and the nature of collecting comprehensive geographic data, any of which may result in incorrect results. Inaccurate information about speed limits, turn restrictions, and other road attributes may affect the specific route and the related guidance.

Annual navigation map updates can be purchased from your dealer. Depending on your purchase agreement, you may be entitled to a free map update. You can download the map data update to a USB drive, order a USB drive, or use Wi-Fi to deliver automatic updates. To update map data via Wi-Fi, your vehicle must be connected to a Wi-Fi access point. Map data files are large, so it is recommended to perform the update when free Wi-Fi is available; otherwise, high data rates may apply.
