Navigating MP3 tracks
In this manual: Navigating MP3 tracks
~1min read
MP3 tracks can be recorded on CDs in several ways. They can be placed in the root directory, as in a conventional audio CD, or they can be divided into folders representing, for example, an album, artist or genre.
On discs with multiple folders, the normal playback order starts with the tracks in the first top-level (root) folder, then the tracks in its subfolders, then the tracks in the second folder, and so on.
- Press the up or down arrow button to open the track list.
- Use the arrow buttons to browse the contents and select another folder or track (file).
- Press OK to select the highlighted track.
